DJ Design have a free design service where the designer will visit you on-site, take measurements and listen carefully to what you want to achieve in your kitchen or bedroom – your wish list, your modern kitchen ideas – then go away and create an initial design and costing.
We are happy to work from your architect’s plans to create an initial traditional or modern design for you and will liaise with your existing builders on positioning of electrics, gas and water, as well as spacious storage solutions for your dream kitchen.

Manufacturing
DJ Design offer bespoke made to measure services – any width, depth, or height with colour coordinated interiors to door finishes in both kitchens and bedrooms.
We manufacture rigid handmade construction cabinets locally in our own factory. This gives us the flexibility to make rapid alterations if required. Each morning we have a surgery period to supply current fits with any required overnight modifications, preventing delays to your project.
Project Management
DJ Design offer a full project management service. All installations are surveyed, scheduled and monitored by our experienced designers who follow through from start to finish.
We oversee all aspects of the installation using qualified tradesmen with a team that includes carpenters, tilers, electricians, plasterers and small building work.
If you want to manage the project yourself we also offer a supply only service.
Appliances & Worktops
We encourage our customers to source their own appliances with our assistance as to sizing and suitablity to the cabinets and modern kitchen units of their choice. This is to enable our customers to keep control of their appliance costing and where they are sourced from. We install appliances as part of the kitchen fit.
This also applies to the large range of worktops. We work with our own granite quartz companies, however, our customers can also choose to deal with them directly, with our assistance, removing the middleman costs. Another feature to allow our customers to keep costs to a minimum.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have a showroom?
Yes we have a showroom which is located in a separate area of the same building as where our factory manufacturing operation is based.
With that being the case we advise all visits by our customers to be on an appointment only basis, firstly so we can give each customer our undivided attention but secondly also for health and safety purposes.

Can you provide bespoke colours?
Yes we have certain ranges of wood Shaker kitchen doors which we are able to buy in and paint in our in house spray facility to any colour our customers request or may have a sample of. Click Kitchen Finishes for more information.
Otherwise we also have a vast range of standard and made to order colours available among all the different styles of kitchen and bedroom doors we supply.
What are your lead times?
Lead times are dependent upon the range of kitchen or bedroom being supplied, however, for standard ranges 4 – 6 weeks is the normal advised timeline whereas we would advise for special made to order ranges that 8 – 10 weeks is a realistic lead time.
Do you charge a fee for coming out to see us?
No. We offer a free, no obligation, design and quote service.
